It’s World Read Aloud Day!

…That means it’s time to share a book. In honor of sharing books and sparking the joy of reading and learning together, we’ve teamed up with Chronicle Books to read one book six ways. This three-part video series will demonstrate simple, fun ways to share a book and build six essential early literacy skills all children need before they can learn to read.

Part 1: Building Narrative Skills and Print Awareness

Keep an eye on this post to see videos two and three to see how we share books to build social-emotional understanding, vocabulary, phonological awareness, and critical thinking skills.
