Alameda County Program Supervisor

Join our dynamic team as our Alameda County Program Supervisor. You’ll report to our Deputy Director and provide day-to-day support and leadership for Tandem’s Alameda County programs in our downtown Oakland offices. As a program supervisor, you are attentive to detail, with a strategic approach to building community partnerships, and a passion for providing early learning and early literacy programming to the children and families who need it most. You care about equity in your community, and understand that when children enter school ready to succeed, there’s no limit to what they can achieve.

Alameda County Literacy Specialist

Join our Alameda county team, based in downtown Oakland, as a Community Literacy Specialist (CLS). As a member of our programs team, you are the face of Tandem in the community. You will work with children, families, and educators to deliver StoryCycles, Tandem’s classroom-based book circulation program and other community programs that increase access to books, skill level with early literacy strategies, and parent confidence and motivation. You’re passionate about early learning, early literacy, and supporting children to enter school ready to succeed. You’ll provide early learning and early literacy skill-building training for parents, caregivers, and community members.
